Spherix (SPEX) disclosed a patent acquisition from Rockstar. A subsidiary of Spherix acquired 101 patents in exchange for $60M worth of stock. Shares are up over 20% in early trading.

Vringo (VRNG) announced they sold their core mobile operating business to Infomedia. This transaction winds down the mobile operations and will reduce expenses for the future. Vringo will receive an 8% equity stake in Infomedia
